Comprehensive and super-concentrated formula removes chlorine & chloramines and detoxifies heavy metals, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates.

APT Pure contains a proprietary blend of aqueous hydrosulfite salts.
These break apart chlorine and chloramine bonds into harmless chloride ions through sulfonation.
Additionally, the sulfoxylate ions bind to ammonia to form innocuous aminomethylsulfinate ions, which detoxify ammonia yet keep the compound available for bio-digestion by microbial action.
Similarly, it detoxifies nitrites and nitrates by binding to them.

Contains soothing Aloe Vera extract.
