Maintaining the proper pH of aquarium water is important to ensure a healthy environment.
Changes in pH can be caused by the breakdown of waste or local tap water with low pH or low alkalinity.

API pH Up raises pH and makes aquarium water more alkaline.

Liquid formula.

WHEN TO USE:
Test water weekly, using a pH test kit to accurately monitor pH.
Once a reading has been obtained, used pH Up to increase pH levels in your aquarium.

  1. Determine the pH of your aquarium using a test kit.
  2. To increase pH, add 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) for every 95L of water.
    For larger aquariums add 1 teaspoon (5ml) for every 190L of water.
  3. Take another pH reading before dosing again.
  4. Some fish may be sensitive to pH adjustments greater than 0.2 in a 24 hour period.
    Therefore it is recommended that changes greater than this be taken with precaution.
