Aqua One PVC Encased Air Stones are a great way to circulate aquarium water, generate oxygen, and provide environmental enrichment for your fish.
They work by turning the air from an air pump into fine air bubbles, which help to maximize the oxygen level in your aquarium by moving water to the surface.
To clean your air stone, simply rinse it gently in warm, clean water.
Ensure a check valve is in place.
This will prevent water from siphoning out of your aquarium if the pump fails.
If you don't have a check valve, you can place the pump above the water level.
When purchasing an air pump, it is important to consider the depth of your aquarium, the number of ornaments, and the size of the air stone that you wish to operate.
A larger air pump will be necessary for a deeper aquarium or a tank with a lot of ornaments.
