The Dymax Pro-Lite Media Block is a highly effective filter media that provides a massive surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize on.
This helps to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate from your aquarium water, keeping it clean and healthy for your fish and other aquatic life.

The Pro-Lite Media Block is made from a unique, highly porous material that provides up to 100 times more surface area than traditional filter media.
This means that more beneficial bacteria can colonize on the block, which in turn means that more ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate can be removed from your aquarium water.

The Pro-Lite Media Block is also very easy to use.
Simply rinse it under tap water before adding it to your filter.
The block can be used in all types of aquarium filters, including trickle, canister, sump, and top filters.

One Pro-Lite Media Block can treat up to 1,000 liters of aquarium water.
For larger aquariums, you can simply add more blocks.

The Pro-Lite Media Block is a great way to keep your aquarium water clean and healthy. It is an effective way to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, and it is easy to use.

  • For freshwater, saltwater and pond use
  • Suitable for trickle filters, canister filters, sumps and top filters
  • Highly penetrative porous structure
  • Provides the perfect living environment for micro-organisms

A healthy beneficial bacteria colony will be more efficient at processing nitrogenous waste, such as ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, leading to a healthier and stable aquarium.

Once established, cleaning should be done regularly to remove any debris and unhealthy bacteria.
Filter material should only be cleaned using tank water since the chlorine and chloramines in tap water will kill all the beneficial bacteria needed for a healthy tank.
