Since all planted aquariums lack CO2, it is extremely important that they are supplemented with it. In fact, 40 to 50% of a plant's dry weight is composed of carbon. For optimal condition of aquarium plants, some CO2 supplementation is necessary. Fluval Pressurized CO2 Kit is the ideal CO2 supplementation system. It will ensure that the most important nutrient is available to plants for maintaining vigorous health and lush and vibrant growth. To guarantee perfect conditions for aquarium plants, appropriate lighting and fertilizing is highly recommended.
How to Use:
- Assemble the system according to the instructions.
- Attach the CO2 cartridge to the regulator valve.
- Adjust the regulator valve to the desired CO2 level.
- Place the CO2 ceramic diffuser in the aquarium.
- Connect the hose to the regulator valve and the CO2 ceramic diffuser.
- Turn on the CO2 system.
- Use a CO2 drop checker to monitor the CO2 level in your aquarium.
- Adjust the CO2 level as needed based on your plant requirements.
- Discard the CO2 cartridge when it is empty and replace it with a new one.
