Directions & Dosage:
- Add one packet of Fritz Slime Out per 94.5 L (25 gallons) of aquarium water.
- Perform a 25% water change after 48 hours.
- Repeat treatment as necessary until cyanobacteria is eliminated.
Important Information:
During treatment:Remove carbon and ion-exchange resins from your filter.
Maintain adequate water flow or aeration in your aquarium.
Adjust your skimmer if foaming occurs.
Discontinue the use of UV sterilizers (if present).
Plant safety: Some sensitive plant species may show temporary yellowing during treatment. This usually improves after treatment is complete. If concerned, remove sensitive plants before treatment.
Nitrifying bacteria: Fritz Slime Out does not harm these beneficial bacteria and will not negatively impact your biofilter.
Overdose: If you accidentally overdose, perform a large water change if your fish show signs of distress. Additionally, increase aeration or water flow in your aquarium to improve oxygen levels.
