Mechanical Filtration - The  indented foam pad is constructed of a durable and rigid material. The great surface area and "egg create" shape design, requires less cleaning and maintenance. 

Biological Filtration - The Bio Brick is made from an all natural, clay based material that is kiln fired. Its highly porous nature means that there are are thousands of small air filled cavaties, perfect for growing beneficial bacteria! 

UV Sterilisation - Included in the PowerClear's design is a UV steriliser that effectively kills algae and eliminates green water.
