Directions for Use:

1. Rinse Macropore thoroughly in clean water before use.
2. Place Macropore in a resin bag (sold separately) and add it to your aquarium filter.
3. Freshwater Recharge: Dissolve non-iodized salt in water and soak the Macropore for 12 hours. Rinse and reuse. After several salt recharges, a bleach recharge may be necessary (indicated by significant discolouration). Follow instructions below for marine aquariums.
4. Marine Aquarium Recharge: Soak Macropore in a 1:1 bleach solution for 12 hours. Rinse thoroughly and then neutralize chlorine using a chlorine neutralizer solution. Finally, soak in freshwater for additional chlorine removal and test for residual chlorine before reusing.

Important Reminders:

• Pre-rinse Macropore before initial use in a resin bag (sold separately) to remove any residual dust.
• Monitor Macropore over time. The media is exhausted when it no longer clarifies your aquarium water or cannot be bleached white again.
• Follow the specific recharge instructions for freshwater or marine aquariums.
