PondCare pH Down is an adjuster that slowly lowers the pH level of pond water.

- Does not harm delicate pond fish or aquatic plants.

- Does not promote algae growth and is phosphate free.

Extreme pH levels must be avoided for health of your pond.
A pH range between 6.8 and 8.0 is ideal for garden ponds.
Acid rain, mineral leaching, soil runoff and decomposing plant and fish waste can cause unacceptable pH levels to occur.

pH down works by slowly neutralising some of the alkaline substances that cause a high pH in pond water.
It is important to test the pH when using pH down in the pond.
pH should be lowered no more than 0.5 units every 24 hours.
Do not treat the pond more than once every 24 hours.
Plants and algae cause a temporary increase in pH in the afternoon, therefore pH should be testing in the morning to obtain the most accurate reading.

Carefully mix desired dose with 10L of pond water in a bucket and distribute evenly around the perimeter of the pond.

1. Test the pH level of the pond using a test kit.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of pH down for every 190L of pond water.
3. Wait 24 hours, then test pH. Repeat treatment as necessary.
