Originally from South America. This miniature version of the well-known Alternanthera Reineckii, in its wildest form grows best submerged. It is particularly suitable for small aquariums or as a foreground plant in larger aquascapes.
With careful trimming, it is possible to create a dense, red violet carpet of approximately 5 to 10cm height.
High light intensity and addition of CO2 improves the plants growth and overall appearance.

Grown in nutrient rich agar jelly, free from pests, disease and algae.
Produced in a purpose built sterile laboratory by professional horticulturalists.
Superior quality with established root systems and fuller pots.
 
Suitable for nano-aquariums.

Before planting rinse off all the Agar (jelly) and separate into smaller bunches.
Each pot is 75mm in diameter and packed full of healthy plants.
