The Ziss CO2 ZC-II Generator is a revolutionary, patented chemical neutralization system designed to provide a stable and efficient source of carbon dioxide for your planted aquarium. Unlike traditional bio CO2 generators, the ZC-II offers instant start-up, precise control, and temperature-independent operation, ensuring optimal plant growth and a thriving aquatic ecosystem.
To ensure optimal performance, follow these steps carefully:
- Preparation: Fully close the Speed Control Valve (#3).
- Powder Addition: Pour the entire contents of the ZCR-160 refill powder pack into the Powder Tank (#2).
- Water and Seal: Add approximately 200ml of water to the Powder Tank (#2). To prevent leaks and ensure a proper seal, rinse the Main Red Rubber Head Seal with water, to remove any residual refill powder from the seal's surface.
- Tank Assembly: Position the UP Solution Tank (#1) onto the Down Tank (#2) and securely fasten.
- Liquid Addition: Remove CO2 Outlet Cap (#4) and carefully pour the liquid from the ZCR-160 refill pack into the UP Solution Tank (#1).
- Diffuser Installation: Replace CO2 Outlet Cap (#4) and place the ZD-200 diffuser inside your aquarium.
- Flow Adjustment: Slowly open the Speed Control Valve (#3) to allow the solution from the UP Tank (#1) to drip through the drip hole (#5). (For the 160g kit, aim for a drip rate of one drop every five to eight minutes.)
- Valve Marking: Mark the current position of the Speed Control Valve (#3) with a marker. This will simplify resetting the valve for future installations.
- Drip Rate Verification: Double-check that the solution is dripping at the desired rate.
Troubleshooting:
- No CO2 Production: If the solution is dripping but the ZD-200 diffuser is not producing CO2, detach the UP Solution Tank (#1) and rinse the Main Red Rubber Head Seal with water (as described in step 3). Reassemble the unit.
