Dymax Pro-Cube is a biological filter media that has literally changed the conventional way an aquarium runs. Its massive surface area, and huge potential for biological filtration has removed the need to design tanks around live rock or building a larger filtration system for an aquarium. This product has been so successful in handling biological filtration which helps remove ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite within a short period of time, thus providing a more consistent water chemistry for aquatic life.

Pro-Cube is the most technically advanced biological filtration media in the basket. This product is designed for both marine and freshwater aquariums. Due to its extremely high performance, this media is classified as one of the most economical filter media that can be used in sumps, canisters, overhead and internal filters.

A healthy beneficial bacteria colony will be more efficient at processing nitrogenous waste, such as ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, leading to a healthier and more stable aquarium.

These super porous cubes are suitable for both fresh and saltwater aquariums, and they will fit nicely into canister filters and sumps.

Dymax Pro-Cubes should be thoroughly rinsed, to remove dust, prior to being placed in aquarium equipment.

Once established, cleaning should be done regularly to remove any debris and unhealthy bacteria.

Filter material should only be cleaned using tank water since the chlorine and chloramines in tap water will kill all the beneficial bacteria needed for a healthy tank.
