The filter comes complete with all the necessary components, including a filter cartridge, an impeller, and suction cups for attaching the filter to the aquarium.
The pickup filter has a unique design that allows the filter canister to be removed from the pump unit for easy cleaning and maintenance.
The filter canister together with its cartridge can be removed from above, while the pump unit remains in the tank. This allows you to clean the filter cartridge without having to remove the entire filter from the tank.
This is a major advantage over other internal filters, which can be difficult to clean without dismantling the entire unit.
The pickup filter also features a rotatable outlet nozzle, which allows you to direct the flow of water where you want it. This is helpful for creating a strong water current in the aquarium, which is important for a healthy ecosystem.
